Holographix office relocation.
Hereva was hired as Owner’s Project Manager, from lease signing through design, construction and relocation of their existing office, research and manufacturing facility. The project consisted of a series of CNC clean rooms for product development and testing, open plan manufacturing, and office and amenity spaces for staff.
About the project
Holographix found a building in Marlborough that would both allow for growth and afford them a much more convenient location. Close to 495, it was easier for employees and visitors to reach, and the roughly 15,000 sf was larger than their former facility. Hereva was hired to manage the project, from lease signing through design, construction and relocation of their existing laboratories and equipment.
The stand-alone building offered several challenges to the design and construction teams, including code issues and mechanical challenges. Coordination with the town of Marlborough was key to the success of the project.
Their technology requires complex clean rooms with laser sensitive and clean finishes. The design included a series of CNC clean rooms for product development and testing, as well as open plan manufacturing space. Staff areas were well lit and offered updated amenities and branding opportunities. The site includes all new manufacturing, testing, and assembly spaces.
