About the project
When Foundation Medicine endeavored to update their existing QSR Lab and associated office space, they knew it would be a challenging project. Hereva was brought onboard to provide overall project management at each phase of the project, beginning with team selection and through project delivery.
The ambitious project scope involves converting a conference room to Block Return lab space, creating an expanded QSR lab and upgrading meeting rooms with new AV, sound attenuation and furniture installation of a new electrical closet.
Because the space will be occupied during the renovation, intense schedule coordination with user groups is required to allow current internal deadlines to remain on track. The lab is occupied 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with staff working in two shifts. The phased demolition and renovations are being carefully timed in consideration of this unique shift schedule as well as long lead items for new equipment, and extremely vibration sensitive equipment.
