May 16th was a beautiful day and we had a blast competing in this year’s Kendall Square Challenge. Every year this event grows, and this year’s challenge was bigger, more collaborative and more philanthropic than ever.
Check out Hereva’s latest news and events.
Hereva was proud to be a sponsor on May 11th at the Helping Hands Monkey Helpers’ Festivale 2019 celebrating their 40th Anniversary. The fundraising event, with live and silent auctions, was held at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter in Boston. It was a great opportunity to meet fellow supporters, trainers and staff, volunteers and recipients – all those who help make this such a wonderful organization.
No one here at Hereva was surprised when Moderna won the prestigious ISPE Facility of the Future Award for their cGMP clinical manufacturing facility in Norwood, MA.
Given how tight the current real estate market is, it’s no wonder more and more life science labs are deciding to renovate and reconfigure their existing lab spaces rather than seek relocation.
Reconfigurations make sense on any number of levels – but they also come at a cost and have their own inherent set of complexities and problems. That’s because one of the biggest issues to reconfiguring an existing lab space is that, in most cases, the labs need to keep working during the renovation. The NAIOP Annual Real Estate Market Forecast is always very well attended and this year’s event, held at the Westin Boston Waterfront, was no exception. What follows is my take on this informative presentation: Read More “NAIOP/SIOR Real Estate Market Forecast”

Some organizations have been established for many years and have a mature process for managing capital projects. Others are in the early growth stages and just starting to find ways to execute multiple projects. For those companies in the “sweet spot” – between small company with one facilities person and growing company building out a facilities team – engaging a consultant can provide exceptional value. We’ve been busy here at Hereva!
Over the past few months, we’ve participated in events that benefit our community, industry, and team.
These events reflect our core values: integrity, education, partnership, community and commitment – and we’ve dedicated a new page on our website to share our experiences. Some highlights include:
First, let me tell you who I am not. I am not an environmental scientist, a climatologist, or an expert in resiliency. I am not on any committees for climate change at the federal, state or local level. I’ve not been studying climate change for years. I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. However, I am a member of our real estate community. I’m a program planner and a project manager – representing owners who are designing and building commercial real estate projects for their organizations.
